In producing since 2001 and with its latest developments and upgrades it has proven to be a most reliable electric urban run-around.The City-bike now offers a sporty 6-speed Shimano gear-set and shifter with V-brakes fitted as standard to stop that extra boost when you need to.City-bike can now be purchased with the same lightweight 36 volt Lithium-Ion battery that our revolutionary X-byke uses, or with our classic 15 amp SLA battery pack.The bike is fitted with a centre-stand, sprung seat post, rear luggage rack and front basket as standard. Front suspension forks are available as an optional extra, for added comfort or for the more adventurous among you.The bike operates in two modes; Pure Power (PP) where no pedalling is required and this will provide a journey distance of approximately 15-20 miles; Peddle Assist (PA) will take you even further up to 30 miles, with some modest pedalling.
